This is a free video converter if you want a smaller video for your website.
Only one person at a time but if another video is being processed you will see the progress on screen.
Original Video is not stored after compression and is removed from tmp folder.
Download version also deletes after download.
How to compress your video
- Choose your video — MP4, MOV, M4V, MKV, AVI or WebM, up to 10 GB. Larger files are rejected instantly, before any upload.
- Pick a resolution — 1080p for crisp web video (recommended), or 720p for a smaller file. Aspect ratio is always kept, and videos are only scaled down, never up.
- Choose the audio — Keep audio for normal video, or Muted for a looping background/header video.
- Click “Upload & Compress.” You’ll see an upload progress bar, then a conversion progress bar.
- Download the compressed MP4 when it’s ready.
Good to know: only one video is processed at a time — if someone else is converting you’ll see their progress and the form returns automatically. Keep this tab open until your download starts. Nothing is stored: your original is deleted once converted, and the compressed file is deleted the moment your download begins.
